EWMSC Affected By Black Out Tuesday

Scores of patients attached to the Adult Medical and Surgical Ward, had to be turned away today, due to ‘Black Out Tuesday.’
Several employees attached to the unit responded to the PSA’s call, thus forcing the authorities to send patients home. However, sources at the hospital said there was minimal disruption to the accident and emergency unit.
As for the pediatric unit, they said patient care was not compromised.
Yesterday, reports surfaced that there would have been a total shutdown of the unit, due to the protest action today by the PSA.
The PSA engaged in protest action today, labeling it as Black Tuesday calling on the CPO to reconsider its offer of a 1% increase for public servants.
The PSA went into a third round of negotiations with the CPO today… but as before, the one percent wage increase offer remained.
I’m not going to be holding anything, no flowers, no nothin’. Apparently this makes me Really the rebel and my mother was a bit confused and I feel disappointed we wouldn’t be arguing more than bouquets…lol.
