Two Killed Over-Night

A Cepep worker has been gunned down.
Forty-six year old Michael Rigoux of old Cross Road, Laventille was found in a drain at Mentor Alley.
Residents in the area reportedly heard several loud explosions just before 9pm last night.
The body was discovered in a pool of blood.
No motive has yet been established for the killing.
And in a separate incident a Rio Claro man was shot dead.
Reports reaching 7Eye-witness News stated that twenty-seven year old Marcus Garcia of Rio Claro was at Guyaguyare with his common-law wife Amanda Roopnarine.
The couple was visiting a relative around 9:30 pm last night.
Whilst Ms. Roopnarine was inside the house several loud explosions were heard.
On checking she found Garcia lying in a pool of blood just outside his Nissan Almera motor car.
The murder toll now stands at 265 in 235 days.
