Police Officer Held For Allegedly Killing His Wife

In a gruesome attack a man said to be a police officer with nearly 20 years service allegedly to killed his wife at their Manic street, Guaico, Tamana, Sangre Grande home .
Initial reports stated that the lawman who has been on continuous sick-leave for over a year and last attached to Arouca police station got into and argument with his wife.
He allegedly took a hatchet and repeatedly chopped her. The woman died on the spot in a pool of blood.
She was identified as 24 year old Giselle Maloney.
The officer was detained by his colleagues who visited the scene and is presently assisting the northern homicide with their investigations
