Marijuana Bust In San Juan

Police destroyed a quarter million dollars in marijuan in San Juan.
Officers from the North-Eastern Division Task Force carried out an exercise in the Laventille Hills, San Juan area between the hours of 10am and 6pm, yesterday .
It was reported that the officers stumbled upon a make-shift camp some one mile into the hills.
Upon further investigation the team discovered a quantity of dried marijuana and a number of green marijuana trees with a total estimated value of $250 thousand dollars and destroyed it.
Officers involved in the exercise were Sgt. Roger Alexander, Cpl. Sunil Bharath, PC’s Furlonge, Martin, Mahabir.
No arrests were made.
