Wasa Service Interruption

The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers of North-East Trinidad that there will be a delay in the restoration of the pipe-borne water.
In a release issued earlier today, WASA is informing customers in Trincity, Tacarigua, El Dorado and environs that there will be a disruption in the water supply.
The release indicated that the Tacarigua high-lift station, which services these areas, is experiencing an electrical problem.
Emergency repairs that entail the replacement of the high voltage line at the plant are currently underway.
These works are expected to be completed by 5.00pm.
The authority apologizes for the inconvenience caused and expresses its appreciation to customers for their patience and understanding.
