Chinese Restaurant Owner Murdered

A Chinese restaurant owner was shot dead and her husband is now warded in serous condition.
This as their family business, “Tiger City Restaurant” in Cunupia, is believed to have been robbed last night.
60-years-old Wu Siu Hua and Yang Jaing Hua were found with gun shot wounds and motionless, on the restaurant’s floor.
Their daughter, Gu Yan Hau, reportedly found her parents after hearing several loud explosions from her home which is located above the business place.
They were rushed to the Chaguanas Health Facility where her father was transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
He is warded in a critical but stable condition.
Her mother was pronounced dead on arrival at the Chaguanas facility.
Investigations revealed that an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register and a laptop were missing.
Senior Superintendant Deodath Doolalchan, Superintendant Johnny Abraham and officers from the Southern Homicide Bureau visited the crime scene.
