Man Dies In Vehicular Accident

A 44 year old Cunupia man lost his life last evening in a vehicular accident.
He has been identified as Chaitram Nanan of Warren road.
The incident occurred at about 8:45pm.
According to reports Nanan was driving his Nissan B13 south along the Southern Main Road in Warrenville, Cunupia, when he lost control of the car.
Eyewitnesses told police that the man’s car then slammed into a nearby light pole.
Another car travelling in the opposite direction then hit the car.
Both drivers were rushed to the Chaguanas health facility, where Nanan was pronounced dead on arrival.
The other driver who was not identified managed to escape without injury.
PC Ali of the Chaguanas police station is continuing investigations.
