Police Commissioner Had No Knowledge Of Re-Route Camp Demolition

Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs has denied having any knowledge of the demolishing of the re-route group’s camp site.
Gibbs says he was never consulted on the matter.
However according to reports, Assistant Commissioner of Police, South Fitzroy Frederick was contacted by National Security Minister Jack Warner around 5:30 am on Wednesday, requesting police presence at the location…in the interest of keeping peace and maintaining order.
Four officers were then sent to the location.
When questioned as to why the Assistant Commissioner was contacted rather than Commissioner Gibbs, Sgt Wayne Myster could not share light on the reason during yesterdays police briefing.
