THA’s Largest Budget Ever

Over four billion dollars is what is being asked by the THA to finance the affairs on the sister isle in the next fiscal year.
The exact figure…4.381 billion.
This according to Finance Secretary of the THA, Dr. Anslem London in what is being described as the biggest budget in the history of the Tobago House of Assembly.
London’s presentation took place this morning.
According to London 2.15 billion dollars is needed for recurrent expenditure while 1.75 billion dollars will go towards development.
Today’s budget surpasses the 3.9 billion dollars requested by the tha last year by an increase of 400 million dollars.
