POLICE PREVENT CHURCH GOERS FROM GOING HOME AFTER SERVICE
Around 11:30 Wednesday evening, members of the Prophetic Missions International at #21 Yard Street in Chaguanas where prevented from leaving the church to return home after service had ended. Police officers swooped down on the compound and warned the congregation that they were breaking the law. SEVERAL ARRESTS IN SOUTHERN RAID
A total of twenty five individuals including two women were arrested during raise conducted in parts of south Trinidad this morning. 94 ARRESTED IN EAST TRINIDAD
94 persons have been arrested last evening during a police exercise in East Trinidad. Reports from the Northern Division police, state that the exercise was carried out during the curfew hours into 9am today. Persons from Arima, Arouca, Tunapuna & St. Joseph police districts were detained. 64 of which were held on outstanding warrants for various offences while 28 known-gang-members were also detained on enquiries into criminal activities in the northern areas.
