The Ministry of Health has announced a major recall of several imported food items due to bacterial contamination. The products are imported from the New York based Rich Products Corporation. Products produced by Farm Rich and Market Day were recalled in the US and now food items produced by Waycross Georgia are being recalled because they may contain the bacteria E. Coli. Trini Shot Dead In Brooklyn

A 22-year-old man was fatally shot on the steps of a Brooklyn apartment complex Tuesday, cops and witnesses said. Iran Struck By Major Earthquake

Iran has been struck by its most powerful earthquake for nearly 40 years with tremors felt across Pakistan, India and the Middle East. The epicentre of the 7.8 magnitude quake, was near the South-East city of Khash close to the Pakistani Border. Offices were evacuated in Karachi, Delhi, and in the Gulf States. There are conflicting reports on casualties but preliminary reports say that 40 people had been killed.

More than 2 million Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda vehicles have been recalled on a global scale because of faulty airbags. The air bags are made by the Japanese Takata Corporation  a company which produces airbags for non Japanese car manufacturers as well.
